On Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, Melissa Mattes, director of Early Childhood Programs at Downeast Community Partners, will lead a community conversation regarding current programs and an upcoming grant opportunity for Early Head Start funding that could potentially be used for programming in the Blue Hill area. The public is invited to join the discussion and share information about what they see are the resources and needs for young families on the Peninsula and Deer Isle.
The forum,to be held in the Blue Hill Congregational Church’s Jonathan Fisher Hall, will be hosted by Healthy Peninsula’s Early Childhood Interest Group and the Early Childhood Community Planning Network and will include a light dinner of pizza and salad.
