Healthy Peninsula is extending its deliveries of fresh free local produce through Thursday, October 13. The extension is made possible through generous donations from St. Francis by the Sea Episcopal Church, Tradewinds, private donors, continued gleaning support from Healthy Acadia, and dedicated community volunteers.
The Magic Food Bus welcomes all “shoppers” each Thursday. New extended season stops and approximate times include Harborview Apartments in Blue Hill at 2 pm, Deer Run Apartments in Deer Isle at 3:30 pm, and then back to the Penobscot Town Hall at 4:30. Each stop will be roughly 30 minutes long. The Magic Food Bus will be at the Sedgwick school on Friday afternoons from 3:00-3:45, and then on to Benjamin River Apartments from 4:15-4:45.
