Healthy Peninsula is delighted to announce that we have received a grant from the Yoakum Fund of the Maine Community Foundation to provide healthy nutrition programs for young and old. We plan to use this support to continue the healthy cooking classes that we held at senior and low-income residences and senior centers last year and for other healthy-eating programs in the nine towns we serve on the Blue Hill Peninsula, Deer Isle, and Stonington.
